Continuous development is an objective of our ISO accreditation, and the service is actively working to improve the methods used to manufacture our artificial eyes and to improve waiting times for treatments.
We are researching bio-compatible materials to enable us to provide the quality and appearance that our prostheses are known for with a reduction in manufacturing time.
Hand scanning of prostheses in the clinic setting along with the colour accurate digital imaging used for “80%” of our artificial eyes and cosmetic shells will enable the service to reduce the timings of our longer appointments leading to greater convenience for patients.
